The Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) was implemented on 20 March 2008 as the means of allocating Australian Government subsidies in relation to residential aged care providers
The ACFI replaces the RCS (Residential Classification Scale) and will use information from 12 questions and 2 categories to diagnose a resident in the Low, Medium or High category of each of the three funding domains.
Central Line Health continues to monitor these recent changes to ensure the provision of our comprehensive integrated health services in residential aged care meets this new funding framework.
